PROPAGANDA, TRUTH, AND THE FUTURE: LESSONS FROM UKRAINE

The editor of eCCO Magazine would like to draw readers’ attention to the online seminar published by the Museum of Public Relations, on the YouTube channel: PROPAGANDA, TRUTH, AND THE FUTURE: LESSONS FROM UKRAINE

Chaos and the Weaponization of Words: Communications Lessons from the War in Ukraine

The War in Ukraine has been fueled by Russian disinformation as much as by missiles and munition. Join this panel of experts—all authorities on propaganda’s impact on public opinion—as they discuss the behind-the-scenes dynamics of these state-run campaigns, the impact they’ve had on world-wide perception, and the lessons that every communicator can learn from this war.

The panel included: Todd Helmus, senior behavioral scientist; Affiliate Faculty, Pardee RAND Graduate School; Nataliya Popovych, Founder of One Philosophy and WeAreUkraine.info, Ukraine Communications Support Network Co-Chair; Volodymyr Yermolenko, philosopher, author, coordinator of UkraineWorld initiative at Internews; and David Gallagher, founder of DG Consulting, former president of the Omnicon PR Group, and Ketchum veteran.

The Museum of Public Relations organizes this program, and it was brought to you jointly with the PRCA Americas, International Communication Consultancy Organization (ICCO), and Ukraine Communication Support Network (UCSN).
