PR Training Academy wins Gold Stevie Awards

Headquartered in Ireland, the PR Training Academy has won Gold at the Stevie Awards in America for online training it provides to PR professionals across Europe, Australia and the USA.

The PR Training Academy (www.prtrainingonline.com), a global online training platform, has taken gold at the Stevie Awards in the USA. The Academy provides training to PR representative bodies, marketing institutes, business associations and journalism bodies in Europe, Australia and the USA. The Academy won PR Innovation of the Year 2020  for creating a single online training resource which provides bite-sized courses (under 3 hours) to PR professionals, 24/7/365. The courses are created by PR professionals for PR Professionals.

Commenting, the Stevie Judges said: “great idea with solid opportunity for global rollout”, “looking forward to seeing this innovation adapted to various learning platforms. Bravo!” and “it’s a great initiative, over an already existing business model widely used by several organizations worldwide”.

The PR Training Academy courses are endorsed by the International Public Relations Associations (IPRA) who have partnered with them to provide training for their 12,000 members globally.

“We are thrilled to win this award” said Ellen Gunning, director of the PR Training Academy. “It is recognition of the fact that we not only identified a need in the industry, but provided world-class award-winning training to fill that void. This gold statuette from the American Business Association is recognition of the great work done by our superb team at the PR Training Academy” she added.

The PR Training Academy launched in Estonia, the European digital hub, in September 2019 after 2 years research into the industry’s needs. They are members of the European Association of Distance Learning (EADL), who train in excess of 2 million people each year.
