AFC-USA Board Members Elections (2020)

The Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the United States (AFC-USA), as a membership organization, is going to hold board members’ elections on September 1st, 2020.

The AFC-USA sent a message to all active members of the organization:

The elections will be for all active members to vote for ten (10) board members.

Any active member of the organization can nominate herself/himself, which means to express her/his interest to be voted and elected as a board member. By receiving this email, it means you are considered eligible to nominate yourself.

To nominate yourself for board members’ elections, you are requested to submit this nominations form.

Once submitted, our elections committee will review your nomination form.

The committee consists of the three executive officers: Vice President, Susan M. Tehrani, General Secretary Alan Jude Ryland, and Treasurer Thomas Barat.

Nominations are open upon receipt of this electronic notice. Nominations’ closing date is Thursday, August 20th, at 11.59pm.

Nominations will be confirmed and announced on Friday, August 21st, 2020 by the elections committee.

The elections will be held electronically on September 1st, 2020 (further instructions will be sent to all active members by our elections committee along with the information/bios of each one of the nominees/candidates).
