On May 24, the NJCU athletics department virtually hosted their annual Gothic Awards ceremony in which athletes are recognized for their hard work and success throughout the year. In addition to athletes, however, a handful of faculty members and students were given awards via the athletic department’s social media pages prior to the virtual event.
The IDR is incredibly proud to announce that Professor David Weiss won the Faculty Knights Award, an honor for his contributions to the university and his influence on campus.
Professor Weiss was chosen to receive this award thanks to his engagement with athletic and business students in collaboration with the Rising Knight Institute by hosting digital leadership experiences to promote the entrepreneurial spirit such as the Spring 2021 event Entrepreneurship Experiences for the Modern Leader which you can watch at the link below. His commitment to mentoring and guiding up and coming business people is impossible to ignore and has yielded amazing results throughout NJCU’s student body.
The Institute for Dispute Resolution at NJCU is a platform at the School of Business that seeks to promote student connectivity to real-world issues.
