Building the Future of Global Business: Enhancing Growth and Investment Through Mediation

The Institute for Dispute Resolution will be hosting a live digital event on September 17, 2020, “Building the Future of Global Business: Enhancing Growth and Investment Through Mediation.”

The digital event presented by New Jersey City University in partnership with International Mediation Institute (IMI), Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest Conciliation Board affiliated with the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Croatian Mediation Association, Georgian Bar Association, EBA Mediation and Arbitration Center, New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Dispute Resolution Section.

The global panel: Professor Eva Inzelt from Hungary, Dr. Giorgi Tsertsvadze from The Republic of Georgia, Judge Srdan Simac from The Republic of Croatia, and Richard H. Steen, Esq, Former President of NJ State Bar Association from the United States.

The enriching live digital event will be beginning globally at 11am EST featuring a panelist from each nation state in attendance, United States, Hungary, The Republic of Georgia, and The Republic of Croatia. Felicia Farber, who has recently been appointed Chair of the Steering Committee for the Institute for Dispute Resolutions’ Programs and Thought Leadership Experiences, will introduce the event on behalf of the IDR. The President of NJCU, Dr. Sue Henderson, will be providing a welcome message for attendees and panelists, our Keynote speaker will be providing brief remarks on how mediation can enhance the growth of business and foreign direct investments, and then IMI’s Executive Director Laura Skillen will be introducing Global panelists as the event’s moderator. Our global panel consists of Professor Eva Inzelt from Hungary, Dr. Giorgi Tsertsvadze from The Republic of Georgia, Judge Srdan Simac from The Republic of Croatia, and Richard H. Steen, Esq, Former President of NJ State Bar Association from the United States. They each will provide their own unique global perspective of how mediation can be utilized in the growth and enhancement of business and foreign direct investment.
