Throughout history, young people’s activism has been a potent creative force in mobilizing social movements. However, youth-led civic action has not always translated into meaningful youth participation in political spaces.

In recent years, youth-led activism has become more visible in the global media landscape and multilateral settings. This book explores the challenges and opportunities emerging from collaborating with youth climate activists on the ground and how that can inform the transformation of education and a more equitable and locally led global development agenda.
