The editor of CCO Magazine would like to draw readers’ attention to the Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the USA (AFPC-USA) call for journalists.
PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS PROGRAM 2024-2025
The Association of Foreign Press Correspondents in the USA (AFPC-USA) recognizes US-based foreign journalists who publish abroad in radio, TV, online, print, and online foreign media.
All international journalists working for international media outlets accredited as journalists in the United States can apply. The awards of excellence are accompanied by monetary support.
To be eligible for an award in 2024, international correspondents must submit no more than one piece of professional work published in any format (print, radio, online, broadcast, or print) for an international media outlet in the years 2023 or 2024.
Their published reporting must fall into one of the following categories:
* Global Health Care and Covid19
* Technology
* Environment and Climate Change
* Minorities, Inequality, and Discrimination
* Business and Economics
* International/National Politics
* Misinformation
* Arts and Entertainment
Applicants are not allowed to submit more than one professional work, and each work must fall within one of the categories listed above. Applicants must be based in the US and work for any international media outlet.
